Here are some photos of a recent Vintage Chic Painting project. This client chose white

painted kitchen cabinets with contrasting island color. The wall/ perimeter cabinets where done in a beautiful white, and the island has a taupe-gray finish with a glaze. The two colors are wonderful contrast and go very well with the Emerald granite counter tops.

This kitchen was very dated with dark oak cabinets original to the house in 1985. As you can see in the “before” photos in the gallery below it was a stark change to the new shade of white painted kitchen cabinets with contrasting island.  The project transformed the kitchen and made it feel brand new. See more photos of this painted kitchen cabinets with contrasting island project on the Vintage Chic Painting Facebook page.

In addition the cabinet painting job, the client had a new built in constructed around the refrigerator to look like an old hutch. The new hutch was painted in the same white and the wall cabinets.
